Today I watched as a male was laughing and talking to a female while another female looked on.  When the female in conversation made eye contact with the on looking female, the one looking on rolled her eyes.  I began to think women are so petty.  When will they learn that they don’t have to belittle one another for the sake of the attention of the opposite sex?  News flash if he was interested in you he would be talking to you.  If he is not then that is all you need to know right there.  There will always be someone who has something that you do not but instead of trying to be like them embrace who you are.  It is our differences that make each of us unique.  Therefore, embrace you and focus on that.  Although, if you are a hater then you need to let that spirit go cause it is not a good look.  Sista why you hating?  Don’t be hating! 

Such pettiness causes me to wish that I worked with more males but as soon as I allowed that thought to flow in my mind I allowed it to flow out.  Men may not be as petty but they have their way of dealing with things too.  The culture of the workplace is truly interesting and mine is like a mini soap opera.  One day everyone is happy and is speaking to one another the next day people act as if they are strangers.  That is not my style.  You speak to me and I will speak to you.  However, if I speak and notice that you act as though you cannot do the same do not worry about me speaking to you again.  I come to work for two reasons to do the job and to receive a check no more and no less.  So, excuse me if I decide that I don’t want to be friends.  The scenario that opened this blog is the main reason why I do not like females.
